Dear Palisades Park Parents and Community,

This letter is to remind families that the official 2025–2026 District Calendar, adopted by the Board of Education on April 30, 2025, designates Spring Recess as potential emergency make-up days if school closures occur during the year.

Due to the three school closures resulting from snowstorms on January 26, February 23, and February 24, school will now be in session on the following dates:

School will be in session on:

• Wednesday, April 8, 2026

• Thursday, April 9, 2026

• Friday, April 10, 2026

These days will serve as the required make-up days to ensure the district meets the State of New Jersey’s required 180 instructional days for the school year.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we make these adjustments to maintain instructional continuity for our students.

On Monday, January 19, 2026, legislation (S4834/A6235) was signed into law that completely 
overhauls the regulation of electric bicycles (e-bikes) in New Jersey. This new law was enacted in
