Lindbergh School Reading Summer Resources
Summer Reading Project:
Studies have shown that having students read 4 or 5 books over the summer months can prevent reading achievement loss. Each student entering grades 2 through 6 in September will be required to complete a “Summer Reading Project” appropriate for his/her grade level and a reading log. Students entering grade 1 will be required to complete a reading log.
Both should be completed and handed in by September 11, 2020 to his/her teacher. There is also an optional writing project that your child may complete if they visit a special place over the summer.
Here are some online resources and incentives to help your child with his/her reading progress over the summer.
