World Language and ML Department

The Palisades Park World Language and ML Department is dedicated to fostering multilingual proficiency and cultural awareness among our students. Our mission is to equip learners with the language skills necessary to thrive in a diverse and interconnected world while providing the necessary support for Multilingual Learners (MLs) to succeed academically and socially.

Through our World Language program, students have the opportunity to develop fluency in new languages, enhancing their communication skills and global perspectives. Our curriculum is designed to immerse students in authentic linguistic and cultural experiences, fostering appreciation and respect for different traditions.

Our ML (Multilingual Learner) program supports non-native English speakers in acquiring the language skills needed for academic achievement. We provide a structured, supportive environment with targeted instruction in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Our dedicated teachers work closely with students to ensure they build confidence, integrate into the school community, and reach their full potential.
