April Student of the Month
After much consideration, it is my honor to announce the Student of the Month for April. Please join me in congratulating Fourth Grader, Clive Chong!
Clive’s Fourth Grade teacher, Mrs. Cracco, nominated him for this award because “He accepts new challenges and is committed to doing his best. Clive sets an example of excellence in the classroom. He also displays good citizenship by assisting other students. His leadership skills carry out especially with group activities. In addition, Clive has vast background knowledge of literature. I appreciate all of his words of wisdom and input. He excels in communicating his ideas in class. Research says, that good readers are great writers. Clive is an avid, adult-like reader and loves all kinds of genres. His writing is compelling to read and his extensive vocabulary is evident in all of his work.” These are all such important qualities that make Clive so deserving of the honor of Student of the Month.
When asked about his favorite thing in Fourth Grade, Clive replied, “getting to learn Geometry and LEAP with Mrs. Doheny!” When he’s not in school, Clive loves Judo. One of his goals is to achieve black belt status. When he gets older he would love to follow in his dad’s footsteps and be a Real Estate Manager, eventually working on projects to build skyscrapers. His geometry skills will certainly come in handy for that.
Clive, we know that if you continue to work hard, you will accomplish anything you put your mind to- the sky is the limit!
Congratulations on this deserving honor. We, here at Lindbergh School, are SO proud of you!
And if you happen to see Clive in the hallway, make sure you say “Hi!” and congratulate him on the accomplishment of being Lindbergh’s Student of the Month for March.
