NJSIAA Scholar Athlete Juliana Lee

Palisades Park Jr./Sr. High School is proud to recognize senior Juliana Lee as the NJSIAA Scholar Athlete for 2013. Juliana was honored at a luncheon on May 19th, along with 350 other student athletes from across the New Jersey. The Scholar Athlete Award is an annual award given to a student who has attained a GPA of 3.0 or higher, showed outstanding accomplishments in a varsity sport, and has exhibited outstanding school and community citizenship. 

Juliana also is commended for her school record in the 3200 meter race the day before at the Bergen County Track and Field Championships. Her time of 11 minutes and 48 seconds breaks an 8 year old record for the girls outdoor track and field team. She also won the 1600 meter race to become the first double County Group D Champion in Girls Track and Field for Palisades Park. Congratulations to Juliana and her family.

Palisades Park High School in Film Festival

Palisades Park High School's Advanced TV/Film Class recently competed in the Ten-Day Film Challenge.  Students were given 10 days to write, film, and edit a four-minute movie using certain criteria laid out by the challenge's organizers.  Over 15 schools were in the competition, and over 100 films were submitted.  PPHS' "The Drop Off" was one of 40 films selected as a finalist to be screened on May 28th at Regal Cinemas in Sewell, New Jersey.  More information on the competition and film screening is available at http://www.tendayfilmchallenge.com/.

Arthur Kim National Merit Scholar Candidate

The Palisades Park School District is proud to announce that Arthur Kim has met the necessary requirements to enter the 2014 National Merit Scholarship Program. Commended students in the 2014 National Merit Program will learn of their standing in September.

PPHS Marking Period 3 Principal's List Award Winners

The Palisades Park Jr./Sr. High School is proud to announce its Principal's List Award winners for Marking Period 3. These students have demonstrated exemplary academic achivement. Students qualify by attaining 5 or more A's and nothing lower than an A-. 

Principal's List Award members are treated to a breakfast with the administration and faculty members for their accomplishments. We congratulate these students, their families, and teachers for their continued academic success and commitment to excellence.
